JUNIOR GOLF: In July, we offered golf camps in two age divisions ~ ages 12 and under & ages 13-17. Please check out the following links:

TGC Junior Club Championship Results:
This year we conducted a one day event for players who had the option of playing 9 holes or 18 holes. Matt Freitag posted an 87 to edge out Alex Boulger by two shots for the 18 hole title. Matt received a $50 golf shop certificate for the victory, while Alex won $30 for second and Matt Wiseman got $20 for his third place finish. Ironically, all three golfers are left-handed players.

In the nine hole division, Matt Lawrence posted a 40 to win first place and the $30 award, Nick Trombley finished second with a 53 to win $20 and Joey Levanos finished third and won $10.

Other Junior Playing Opportunities:
- Monday Allied Junior Schedule (July and August) – several juniors participated in these weekly events.
- NENY PGA Section Pro/Junior Championship (Late June) – we had two teams that competed in the event.
- Junior Member/Guest – new event coming in 2012.
In 2012, we will be establishing a Junior Golf Committee which will be headed up by assistant professional, Marcel Potvin. He will be selecting his committee members over the winter and any interested parties can contact him @ the golf club to indicate their desire to assist with the programs for our juniors.
